Three words that describe Alex as a therapist is curious, caring, and intuitive. She is a licensed professional counselor with over five years of experience. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M and Masters degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake.  She has worked successfully with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, communication issues, relationship problems, trauma, abuse and general life stressors. Her therapeutic approach is centered around the individual and their needs through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, and psychodynamic therapy.

Forward thinking and seasoned in her experience, Dr. Middleman has had an ambitious counseling career and just can not find it in herself to stop doing what she loves.  She obtained her master's degree from Houston Baptist University and her doctorate degree from Texas Woman's University.  She is licensed in family, marriage, and chemical dependency counseling.  She has over thirty years experience working with a number of different populations and positions in counseling.  She loves working with families, couples, and women.  She also helps our office provide a number of workshops from parenting skills, transition phases for couples, to women's issues.
